This might just be one of the most romantic stories I have come across in my line of work. A couple months ago I received an email from John asking about my services for a vow renewal. It wasn't until we spoke on the phone that I realized how in love John is with Amanda and how much the last 10 years have meant to him. John and Amanda celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, July 7th. They planned a vacation to Kure Beach to celebrate, and as far as Amanda was concerned the vacation WAS the celebration. Little did she know that her romantic husband had coordinated a vow renewal to take place on the beach, that she would be wearing a beautiful wedding gown, and there would be a photographer there to capture it all. You see, their first wedding took place at Justice of the Peace, and Amanda had always dreamed of a beach wedding. .... just like the one John gave her on their 10th anniversary.
I was supposed to stop working the end of June because it was just getting tough to get around with this big belly, and it has been in the 90's for the last three months. When I got John's email, I was hesitant. When we spoke on the phone, there was no way I was going to pass this up. I am a sucker for a good love story, which is probably why I love my job so much. This was the last shoot before my maternity leave, and it was a great way to end the summer. Small, Sweet and filled with love. My favorite kind of wedding.
