Justine and Steve are two very special people! Not only are they beautiful, giving, and generous, but their wedding was the first I ever photographed! It was 2002, and I was in the middle of my photography program at Kent State. Justine and Steve didn't have a huge budget for their wedding, and were potentially Not going to have a wedding photographer! A little terrified and very excited I stepped up for the job. I offered my services in exchange for experience. It was on their wedding day that I found a new love. I had discovered my passion for capturing the most precious moments in people's lives. I am so blessed that they chose me for such an important job, because it laid the groundwork for my entire life. I can't imagine doing anything else, and I can't imagine loving something even half as much.
All that said, Justine and Steve have been married for 8 years, and it was time they updated their family photo album. We spent some time in Downtown Akron, because it is the home of the couple, and Steve is very proud of his small town :) Their love and happiness for life and each other is very obvious in these photos. Enjoy a few of my faves :)
