Hilary + Scott Maternity Session. Maternity Photographer Wilmington NC and Ohio

This is one of those sessions that I have been anticipating for a really long time! Scott and I met in 7th grade at the Food Fest in Canton Ohio :) I'll never forget that night! It was the same night I met Zach, Jeremy's brother. Had this night never happened, my entire life would be different. Scott was a complete goofball from the second I met him. He was young, rowdy and I have to admit, a little annoying ;) Regardless, there was something captivating about him. After knowing him all these years, I am going to say it was his heart. Scott is one of the most honest and caring people I know, and I am truly honored to have him in my life. All those years ago, I would have never guessed that we would both be becoming parents at the same time!! I love you Scott, and I have NO doubt you are going to be an amazing father! Jake is a lucky boy!!!

Now for mama Hilary :) Scott and Hil met in Cincinnati when Scott was attending college at UC. Hilary also grew up in Canton, however she was a few years older, so I didn't have the pleasure of getting to know her until she and Scott began dating. Here's the funny thing about small towns... Hilary was Jeremy's first kiss!!!! hahaha!! Gotta love it. It is so fun to look back over everything and then sit and think about where we are today. We are all so happy, so blessed and so grateful. The best part of it all, is that Hilary and Scott became parents much sooner than we all anticipated. Hilary's EDD was just 4 short weeks ahead of mine, but 4 days after our photo session, she went into Labor!!!! Their darling son, Jacob Paul, was born six weeks early, and not a moment too soon :) He is darling! I wish I was there to take photos of him, but for now, let's reflect back to when he was still snuggled up inside of his mama :)
